Computer
Gaming Opens Its Internet Store Front.
After a
number of requests to provide ways for players to purchase the
products we review, Christian Gaming has created a Store Front that
players can use to make purchases. We think you'll like it,
especially since we have found a Christian online store (Called the
Purple Yak) that offers
many of the cutting edge Christian products we have reviewed.
Visit the Store Front or read more about
it in news.

Resident
Evil: Veronica's Code ... Obviously evil, right?
When
we got this review we were surprised by the reviewer's CS rating.
It wasn't that bad. But it's a horror game! Just look
at their title! Well, see why the reviewer gave the game a
better than expected CS rating by reading the review here. And
if you don't agree, you can always let us know.

Behind
the Scenes With Top Meadow Games Developer!
Kevin
Ryan, the main programmer for Heaven Quest took some time to answer
a few of our questions about his company and their games.
Kevin and his partner Brian Supple bring a great deal of experience
to their projects. For those of you who might remember The
Incredible Machine put out by Sierra in 1992 and Arctic Fox for
the Amiga, Kevin was the main programmer/designer for those games.

Heaven
Quest Computer Board Game
This
is one of the few Christian computer games created in the last one
or two years. This one is a straight forward "roll the
dice and move forward" board game that's reminiscent of many
children board games on the market today. Don't
let the simplicity fool you, however, Top Meadow has created a very
solid game in Heaven Quest. Read the full review here.

E3:
The "Peep Show for Nerds" Trade Show!
Well,
Eric Slick is back. The Trade Show called E3 is as big and
amazing as the rumors suggest. At first glance, however, Eric
got the distinct impression that the backbone of the show might not
be those big rollouts of much hyped games or the technological
terror demonstrations of new hardware, but something else far more
sinister. Read Eric's somewhat humorous and slightly cynical
account of his visit to E3 here

DragonRealms
and GemStone III? Not Christian games but are they worth
trying out until a Christian game comes along?
People
have been asking when I was going to write a review on the games
I have worked on (and still do). I work for a secular online
gaming company called Simutronics.
They gave me my start in this business and while I would love to
see a Christian online RPG (see Project X), this is how I make my
living. These are fun games which I've grown to love.
However, I've tried to be honest about the difficulties a Christian
would have with either of these games. For the full reviews,
check out DragonRealms or
GemStone III or go to the reviews
section of this website. You'll want to read them both since
they each have a different perspective (and attitude) which form
something of a whole.

Christian
Gaming gets a new look
Our first web site
was there just to get out word of our desire to create a Christian
RPG and to provide a place for potential players and investors to
gather information about the project. However, we intend the
site to be much more.
Now you can use this
site to find out about everything there is to know about Christian
Gaming on the web. You'll find information, reviews and links
of interest to Christian Gamers. OK, maybe we don't have
"everything" but we'd like to so if you know of something
we are missing, please let us know by emailing us at cgaming@christiangaming.com
and we'll do our best to add it to our content.
We are continually
trying to improve our site so please check with us regularly and
don't forget to look at the latest news on our project to create an
online Christian RPG, code named Project
"X".
