You've
been given a vacation in time to visit Jerusalem from the time of
David, through the time of Jesus and through the time of the
Crusaders, Muslim and modern day rulers. Because your travel
agent has clout, for tour guides you have Kind David, Herod the
Great, the wife of Emperor Constantine and more. With such an
august group of guides, you're bound to get some great insights into
the history of Jerusalem.
And
indeed you do. This isn't exactly a game but in many ways it
feels like a game. It's several years old but worth every
penny. If you're into biblical history then this piece of
software is a must buy. I've found no other piece of software
which presents biblical history in such an entertaining and
educational fashion. I wish they'd done more. Perhaps they
have and I've not yet discovered them. One can only hope.
Since
Jerusalem is presented from the perspectives of the current rulers
of the various eras in which the city is explored, this has appeal
to anyone (not just Christians) who are interested in Jerusalem and
biblical history. The characters presented are well acted and
written so that they present interesting and humorous personalities.
You can
find this title at most any software store. Your local Christian
bookstore should have a copy on hand as well.
